Battling the snow, ice, and frigid temperatures in the winter, mud and floods in the spring time, to summertime with the high humidity, temperatures blazing hot and rainfall being sparse, these cattle know how to survive. 

Since the inception of Lucas Cattle Company we have grown to a 1,000 head of Simmental cows. We strive to breed Simmental and Foundation Simmental cattle that not only offer structural soundness but other necessary assets such as udder quality, fertility, calving ease, longevity, growth, docility, and carcass traits.
